I'm not exactly sure how whether upgrading one thing from level 1 to level 2 gives as much power as upgrading something from 6 to 7, but later on, things begin to cost 2 points to upgrade instead of 1. Prestige things and replay the levels if necessary for more points. Later on, I think you would reach a point where you can survive easily, so you could start getting the I think that in order to beat elite (the first part at least), you need to have enough damage to get through the waves, so you should increase your survivability. You could either increase your "Prestige Income", or upgrade your survivability. There are two ways to think about spending your upgrade points.

The 3rd air strike with the planes exploding should be used right now when the blimp is closer to the middle of the screen, so the other blimps don't block the ones going for the big blimp. Use the first air strike and second air strikes frequently, especially once you see the big blimp. Just did the usual, calling air strikes when necesary, mostly on big blimps. Level 3 results:Leveled up twice, 5 stars. Used air strikes when necessary from now on, especially on the big blimps, in order to not be damaged. Level 2 results:leveled up, 3 shell dmg 1 accuracy. Level 1 results: leveled up, 4 reload speed, 3 accuracy, 3 shell dmg When there's more than 4 blimps on the screen, use them. Either way, "spam" everything you have constantly at this level. I was thinking that you either had to build secondary cannons in order to tank the attacks, or like someone else mentioned, upgrade your building's health and auto repair. The first boss seems to OHKO your initial cannon if you let it get to it. I was able to beat all four levels up to the boss without using any airstrikes (since using airstrikes makes you get less prestige early on) with my upgraded cannon, except for the big blimps, where i basically spammed the first one, used the second one when it got near the middle, and used the third one where there weren't any small guys near it.

I'm going to try to beat the game through a modified version of this strategy. In my first attempt at this game, I tried to upgrade only the main cannon (accuracy, flak bombs, and whatnot), and it worked up until the first boss, where i got destroyed on the last wave. So basically, you have to have a balence of firing speed to reload speed balance, while putting some into your ammo capacity to be able to sustain it longer. The only thing that makes you run out of ammo is upgrading your firing speed. Now, I think that the most important thing is to be able to keep on attacking constantly for a long time before running low on ammo. The more points you put into these two, the better chance you have at hitting them. The more points you put into these two, the longer you will be able to keep on doing that damage.Īccuracy and Shell Speed influence how much your attacks will actually hit the balloons. The more points you put into these two, the more damage you will be dishing out.Īmmo Capacity and Reload Speed affect how long you can do that damage for. Shell Damage and Firing Speed both directly affect how much damage you can do. For now, I'll just try to post my notes and observations on the game as I progress. I am making this walkthrough as I play through the game, and since I'm jumping right into elite difficulty, I might have to restart the entire walkthrough because of a skill build issue or something, so bear with me. I'll try to make this walkthrough step-by-step, but since it's a different type of game, it might be formatted a little differently, with general tips to aid you along the way. I will try to get to the two impossible conditions, but it might take a while. Introduction: Hey all, it's that time of the year again! Balloon Invasion is yet another arcade style game with RPG elements added to it, and I've decided to make another walkthrough to help you all destroy all of those balloons.
